The Black Keys

The Black Keys is a blues-rock duo formed by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney in the north-american city of Akron (Ohio).
About the bans name, there are several theories, one of them is that one of their friend who suffered of schizophrenia used the term "black keys" to refer to people who "weren't completely sane".
Another theory is that the name "Black Keys" comes from the black keys on a piano which are really important notes for blues-rock style of music which is their main one.

They've achieved to be really famous all around the world and recently their songs have been playing in different famous movies such as: "A good day to Die Hard".

They've also been on tour with Radiohead, Beck, Led Zeppelin and Billy Gibbons.

On MTV Movie Awards 2012 Johnny Depp shared stage with them during two songs.

Here's one of their most famous songs, which has been playing on the radio in Spain recently, I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!
