Here the music video and the lyrics for one of my favourite songs ever. Enjoy!

"Savior"

   (Verse 1)
It kills me not to know this but I've all but just forgotten
What the color of her eyes were and her scars or how she got them
As the telling signs of age rain down a single tear is dropping
Through the valleys of an aging face that this world has forgotten
There is no reconciliation that will put me in my place
And there is no time like the present to drink these draining seconds
But seldom do these words ring true when I'm constantly failing you
Like walls that we just can't break through until we disappear

(Chorus)

So tell me now

If this ain't love then how do we get out?

Because I don't know
That's when she said I don't hate you boy
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save
That's when I told her I love you girl
But I'm not the answer for the questions that you still have

(Verse 2)

But the day pressed on like crushing weights

For no man does it ever wait

Like memories of dying days
That deafen us like hurricanes
Bathed in flames we held the brand
Uncurled the fingers in your hand
Pressed into the flesh like sand
Now do you understand?

(CHORUS)

(Bridge)

1000 miles away
There's nothing left to say
But so much left that I don't know
We never had a choice
This world is too much noise
It takes me under
It takes me under once again
I don't hate you
I don't hate you, no

(Chorus)

I don't hate you

I don't hate you, no

Their genre is a topic that has been really discussed , but they've said they've always been inspire by Queen, The Smiths, The Cure, Iron Maiden, Pixies and other famous bands.
When they began with the band, their style of music was clearly Post Hardcore but, nowadays, the band is more mature and is related to Alternative Rock and some songs are related to Hard Rock.

The band name was a Mikey Way's idea, who's the band's main singer's younger brother Gerard Way. The name was from a book named Extasis, Three Tales of Chemical Romance, written by Irivine Welsh. The band name is shortened as "MCR" or "My Chem".

The Black Keys

The Black Keys is a blues-rock duo formed by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney in the north-american city of Akron (Ohio).
About the bans name, there are several theories, one of them is that one of their friend who suffered of schizophrenia used the term "black keys" to refer to people who "weren't completely sane".
Another theory is that the name "Black Keys" comes from the black keys on a piano which are really important notes for blues-rock style of music which is their main one.

They've achieved to be really famous all around the world and recently their songs have been playing in different famous movies such as: "A good day to Die Hard".

They've also been on tour with Radiohead, Beck, Led Zeppelin and Billy Gibbons.

On MTV Movie Awards 2012 Johnny Depp shared stage with them during two songs.

Here's one of their most famous songs, which has been playing on the radio in Spain recently, I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!

Green Day!

Green Day, Punk Rock band, was formed in 1989 in Oakland, California.
Together with other bands they were the people who made pop punk famous with their album Dookie (1994). They sold 10 million copies of that CD in the USA. Nowadays they are still very famous though and they've been working on three CD's at the same time which they've been realeasing during the year.

American Idiot is the song that made them really, really famous all around the world, it played on the radio and just everywhere. I really enjoy it!
I leave the music video so you can listen to it as well.

Simple Plan

At the beginning, two members of this band, Pierre Bouvier (bass and singer) and Chuck Comeau (drums) created a band when they were thirteen years old. That band had a puink style and its name was "Reset".
It was sort of famous and they played with other bands such as MxPx, Ten Foot Pole and Face to Face.
The first one to leave "Reset" was Chuck because he wanted to spend more time studying. Pierre tried to keep going on with "Reset" but the band wasn't as good anymore.
Not long after Chuch left the band, he decided to create a new band with his classmates, Sébastien Lefebvre i Jeff Stinco. The band was named Simple Plan, but they needed a singer.
Menwhile, Pierre left "Reset" and a friend of his, David Desrosiers, decided to continue with the band.
In a concert in Sugar Ray in Montreal, Pierre and Chuck met and he talked about the new band and also about how they needed a bass player and a singer. Pierre thought he could do both jobs so he decided to try play with them. Quickly he realised he couldn't sing and play bass properly at the same time so they decided to find another bass player and Pierre got to be the main singer in the band.

Around 2001 the signed a contract with Lava Records to record their firt CD: No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls with was released on March 2002. Famous singers helped them with their first CD (Good Charlotte, Blink-182...)
Their songs started to be in more films and a year later they released their second album: MTV Hard Rock Live with a acoustic version of their song "Crazy".
That was the beginning of an amazing music career which is still going on nowadays.
